JAMSHEDPUR – CP Samiti Middle School in Kebal Basti organized Diwali celebrations with students participating in various decoration competitions.

Students took part in three different contests. These included Diwali house making, rangoli creation and diya decoration. Moreover, they showcased their artistic skills through these activities.

Children created elaborate Diwali houses and decorated diyas. Their craftsmanship impressed attending guests significantly. Besides, the artwork displayed traditional festival elements beautifully.

School Samiti president Dinesh Kumar attended as chief guest. He addressed students about Diwali’s significance in his speech. “Diwali symbolizes light’s victory over darkness,” Kumar stated.

The festival brings happiness and prosperity into lives. However, it also provides opportunities for celebration. In addition, sharing sweets with loved ones remains essential.

Kumar emphasized festival education for modern students. Teaching traditional celebrations alongside academics is crucial today. Furthermore, understanding cultural heritage enriches children’s overall development.

“Diwali houses and rangolis enhance festival joy considerably,” he added. These decorations multiply happiness during celebrations. Moreover, they connect younger generations with traditions.

Winners will receive prizes across all three categories. First, second and third positions will be awarded. Besides, participation certificates will be distributed to all students.

In-charge principal Amit Kumar Singh conducted the proceedings. Vice president Salik Das Dewangan also addressed the gathering. In addition, English medium school principal Lubna Noor Khan spoke.

Several teachers attended the celebration program. These included Trilochan Kaur, Seema, Sangita Mary Suren and Archana Singh. Moreover, Kaushik Datta, Hira Das Manikpuri and Anusuiya Kumari participated.

Others present were Tarkeshwari Devi, Richa Mishra and Annapurna Pradhan. Besides them, Sara Masih, Diksha Kumari and Iram Parveen attended. Furthermore, Kritika Singh, Kumkum Singh and Preeti Kumari joined.

Rita Sharma, Archana Singh and Kavita Kumari were there. Meanwhile, Anjali Kumari and other staff members also participated.
