JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Chemists and Druggists Association held its annual meeting and elections in the presence of key state representatives and hundreds of members.

The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony by chief guest Subhash Chandra Mandal, General Secretary of Jharkhand State Chemists and Druggists Association, along with office bearers and invited members. Among those present were Narendra Kumar Murarka, election observer Satish Kumar Thakkar, Rakesh Budhia, Raju Chaudhary, and representatives from Dhanbad including Lalit Agarwal, Dheeraj Das, and Rajesh Singh.

President Pankaj Chhabra, in his welcome address, expressed gratitude to the guests and members for their active participation. General Secretary Ashish Chatterjee presented the annual report, highlighting past achievements and outlining future initiatives. He assured members that issues such as trade discounts and operational challenges would be addressed collectively, with strong teamwork and advocacy.

Following discussions, the election committee took charge of proceedings. Chief Election Officer Manoj Kumar Agarwal, along with his team, briefed the gathering on election procedures conducted as per the association’s constitution. He confirmed that the process was transparent and fair, with all nominations received and verified.

Of the seven nomination forms sold, six were validly submitted, and one candidate withdrew. After scrutiny, each post had a single valid nomination, leading to unopposed elections. The following candidates were declared elected:
