East Singhbhum Congress Warns BJP Against Undermining Democracy

  • Congress accuses BJP of crushing democratic institutions and EVM doubts
  • Party vows nationwide agitation if electoral irregularities continue

JAMSHEDPUR – Rajeev Mishra, spokesperson of East Singhbhum Congress, supported Rahul Gandhi’s charge that BJP is destroying democracy through vote theft.

Mishra said Rahul Gandhi had exposed deliberate manipulation in the electoral process. He noted that voter voices were being suppressed and institutions like the Election Commission pressured.

Meanwhile, the East Singhbhum Congress declared that the fight is not just a Congress concern but an issue for all citizens. The party pledged to stand firmly with Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.

According to Mishra, BJP has been accused of trampling democratic institutions. He alleged that the neutrality of the Election Commission has been compromised. In addition, he said EVM reliability has become doubtful but BJP ignores the concerns.

He stressed that vote theft means seizing power by stealing people’s mandate. “BJP no longer cares about the Constitution or voter rights. The Modi government is digging democracy’s grave,” Mishra said.

The district unit urged people across Jharkhand to resist anti-democratic practices. It appealed to citizens to protect their votes and rights by taking to the streets.

In addition, Mishra warned that if vote theft continues, Congress will launch a massive movement. He said the agitation will spread from villages to the capital and its echo will be heard worldwide.

Finally, he declared that East Singhbhum Congress would fight till the last breath. He emphasized that no force can silence democracy’s voice.
