DHANBAD – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended two Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) officials for allegedly accepting a bribe in Jharkhand’s Nirsa area.
Late Friday night, the CBI team caught the manager of ECL’s Shyampur B colliery, P. Mishra, and clerk G. Gorai red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.
The arrests took place at the manager’s residence.
