Key Points:

- Ban on intoxicants enforced to ensure safety and sanctity
- Entry free for devotees to witness replica of four holy shrines
JAMSHEDPUR – The Sidhgora Durga and Kali Puja Committee is preparing a grand pandal replicating Uttarakhand’s Char Dham temples this year.
The pandal will feature models of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. These replicas are designed with detailed architecture, sculptures, and spiritual ambience.
Moreover, the initiative will allow devotees unable to visit Uttarakhand to experience the shrines. A local resident said, “This pandal will give us the feeling of visiting Char Dham.”
On the other hand, the committee has prioritized strict anti-drug measures. Any use of intoxicants inside the premises will be completely banned. Legal action will be taken against offenders to maintain sanctity.
The venue for this event is the cinema ground in Sidhgora. However, there will be no entry fee for visitors. The pandal will remain open for all devotees and visitors.
Besides being a religious attraction, the pandal will also highlight Uttarakhand’s cultural heritage. It is expected to draw a large crowd during the festive days.
