Meeting at Atal Udyan Finalizes Plans and Park Development Issues

JAMSHEDPUR – BJP Bagbera Mandal leaders decided to hold a one-day dharna at Station Chowk on September 4 to raise local issues.

The meeting was chaired by Mandal president Ashwini Tiwari at Atal Udyan, Road No. 1. Discussions included ways to improve cleanliness and beautification of the park.

Moreover, leaders highlighted the need for a high-mast light in Atal Udyan. They also mentioned that approval was secured from MP Bidyut Baran Mahato for installing Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s statue in the park.

Meanwhile, strategies to ensure mass participation in the September 4 protest were finalized. The dharna will focus on long-standing problems of Bagbera residents.

The planning session was attended by Mandal in-charge Lalan Chouhan, district BJP headquarters in-charge Subodh Jha, former presidents Dhananjay Upadhyay, Sanjay Singh and Bobby Sharma. Other attendees included general secretary Lalan Yadav, media in-charge Kumod Yadav, ward member Umesh Pandey, Rakesh Choubey, Dharmendra Singh, Santosh Singh, and several others.

Women leaders such as Mahila Morcha general secretary Ninu Kudada and Pavitra Pandey also participated. In addition, panchayat heads, committee members, booth presidents and numerous workers were present.

A local member present at the meeting said, “The dharna will give voice to people’s issues and highlight the needs of Bagbera.”
