JAMSHEDPUR – Youth Congress activists in Jamshedpur held a torch rally on Thursday in protest against the central government and the Election Commission.

The demonstration was organised in support of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote theft. Led by Youth Congress leader Satyam Singh, the rally drew a large number of young workers carrying lit torches.

Protesters marched from Ramleela Maidan to Sakchi Golchakkar, chanting slogans such as “Save Democracy,” “Stop Vote Theft,” and “Long Live Rahul Gandhi.”

During the march, participants accused the government of undermining democracy and claimed the electoral process was no longer transparent. They alleged that citizens’ voting rights were being tampered with.

Satyam Singh said Rahul Gandhi’s concerns echoed the voice of every aware citizen. “If votes are stolen, democracy will be endangered,” he stated. “We will fight on the streets to protect people’s rights until the end.”

The rally concluded with a warning from the Youth Congress that if the government and the Election Commission failed to act quickly, further action would follow.
