Theft Outside Circuit House Sparks Allegations of Police Negligence

JAMSHEDPUR – Thieves stole a new Hero Honda motorcycle in broad daylight from outside the ID Salon in the Circuit House area, barely 200 meters from the SSP’s residence.

The bike belonged to Dilip Thakur of Shankosai, Mango. He reported the theft to former BJP leader Vikas Singh, who lodged a complaint at Bistupur police station. Singh also posted CCTV footage of the incident on social media.

In his post, Singh highlighted that the vehicle, belonging to his younger brother Deepak Thakur, was stolen without fear despite the high-security location.

He alleged that the current police station in-charge is openly encouraging illegal activities, which has emboldened criminals to commit such thefts near top police officials’ residences.
