Harina temple prepared for millions of Kanwar pilgrims in Shravan

Key Points:

  • MLA personally participates in cleaning drive with villagers
  • Special arrangements made for Shravan month pilgrimage rush
  • Shopkeepers instructed to avoid plastic use around temple

JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Sanjeev Sardar led a comprehensive cleanliness campaign at Mukteshwar Dham Harina on Friday, personally wielding brooms alongside local residents.

The initiative targeted the famous Shiv temple in Kolhan region. Village residents participated enthusiastically in the cleaning drive. Moreover, forest department officials joined the community effort.

Sardar supervised cleaning operations across temple premises extensively. The campaign covered surrounding areas beyond main worship spaces. Furthermore, the MLA demonstrated leadership by participating directly.

The timing coincides with upcoming Shravan month preparations significantly. Millions of Kanwar pilgrims visit from neighboring states regularly. However, recent Harina fair had created cleanliness challenges.

“Devotees from Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal arrive every Monday,” Sardar explained. Chhattisgarh pilgrims also join the spiritual gathering frequently. Besides, special arrangements ensure comfortable pilgrimage experiences.

The recent fair had left considerable debris around premises. Temple surroundings required immediate attention before pilgrimage season. On the other hand, systematic cleaning addressed these concerns.

Sardar emphasized creating pleasant environment for visiting devotees consistently. Clean surroundings enhance spiritual experience for pilgrims significantly. Moreover, proper maintenance reflects community respect for traditions.

Local shopkeepers received specific instructions regarding cleanliness standards. Plastic usage restrictions were implemented around temple areas. Furthermore, these measures target primary pollution sources effectively.

“Plastic creates maximum pollution problems here,” the MLA noted. Shopkeepers must maintain cleanliness standards throughout pilgrimage season. In addition, alternative packaging solutions were encouraged.

Forest department personnel contributed significantly to cleaning operations. Their participation demonstrated inter-departmental cooperation for community welfare. However, sustained efforts require ongoing collaboration.

The campaign will continue throughout Shravan month preparations. Regular cleaning schedules have been established for maintenance. Besides, community involvement ensures long-term success.

Temple management expressed appreciation for government initiative. Local residents praised MLA’s hands-on leadership approach. Meanwhile, preparations continue for massive pilgrimage influx.
