JAMSHEDPUR – BJP leader Dinesh Kumar visited the grieving family of Atul Sona, who succumbed to injuries after a stone-pelting incident in Golmuri’s Ramdev Bagan area. Kumar expressed his condolences and emphasized the need for stringent measures against the perpetrators.
Kumar held discussions with the Deputy Commissioner via phone, advocating immediate financial relief for the bereaved family. He highlighted that Sona became a victim of violence while taking a stroll after dinner during an altercation between two other individuals.
Incident Draws Strong Reactions
The BJP leader also engaged with Golmuri police officials and the DSP, urging swift arrests of the accused and applying severe legal charges. Kumar insisted that the initial charge of attempted murder be updated to murder following Sona’s demise.
Kumar noted a recurring pattern of incidents near Ramdev Bagan park, calling for Jusco management to deploy security personnel. “Ensuring safety is paramount to prevent such mishaps,” he stated.
