Coronavirus takes 7 lives on Tuesday in Jharkhand, total death toll now 849

Ranchi: Coronavirus has taken 7 more lives in Jharkhand on Tuesday. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the corona virus has reached 849 in the state.

According to official data, till Tuesday, the state had reported 97,414 cases of virus infection. Out of these, 90,385 patients have already been cured and discharged from different hospitals or home quarantine. The state, for now, has only 6,180 active cases of coronavirus.

On Tuesday itself, the state tested 25,307 samples. Out of these, 542 new infection cases were detected with a positivity rate of 2.14 pc.

On Tuesday itself, 605 patients have been reportedly cured and discharged.
