JAMSHEDPUR – D.A.V. Public School, Bistupur, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with fervor and grandeur, embracing the theme “Swarnim Bharat – Virasat aur Vikas.” The event commenced with the hoisting of the tricolor by Principal Mrs. Pragya Singh, followed by the National Anthem.

Students from the school’s four houses, scouts, guides, and band participated in a well-coordinated march past, saluting the national flag. The younger students paid tribute to freedom fighters with a colorful ramp walk. A Nukkad Natak highlighted the importance of Cyber Safety and Mental Health, delivering a powerful social message.

Enthralling Performances Highlight National Unity

Cultural performances, including a dance on “Boond Boond Se Sagar Banta Hai,” recounted the journey of nation-building. The soulful chorus, themed “Desh Pehle,” echoed the spirit of service to the nation. Patriotic slogans like “Vande Mataram” reverberated through the campus.

Principal’s Inspiring Address

Principal Pragya Singh lauded the efforts of students and staff for the event’s success. She emphasized moral values, unity, and the importance of mental well-being. “Respect for all and unity are the keys to universal brotherhood,” she remarked, encouraging students to follow the ideals of simple living and high thinking.

Conclusion with Gratitude and Sweet Distribution

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. O.P. Pathak, Teacher Coordinator. Patriotic songs filled the air, and sweets were distributed to the delight of everyone present.
