JAMSHEDPUR – NIT Jamshedpur’s Production Department successfully concluded a nationwide faculty development program on AI-driven manufacturing.

The six-day program focused on integrating artificial intelligence into digital manufacturing processes. Director Prof. Goutam Sutradhar highlighted AI’s role in advancing Industry 4.0 initiatives.

“This program bridges crucial gaps between academic research and industrial applications,” remarked an expert. Meanwhile, international speakers shared global perspectives on smart manufacturing technologies.

Industry Collaboration

Experts from Tata Motors and TCS shared practical insights with participants. Moreover, specialists from RKFL and DVC contributed their industrial expertise.

The program received an overwhelming response from academic institutions nationwide. Additionally, research scholars gained exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.

Global Knowledge Exchange

International faculty members presented advanced concepts in digital manufacturing systems. Furthermore, IIT professors from Kharagpur, Delhi, and Kanpur shared research developments.

The participants completed assessment tests for AICTE certification requirements. However, the program emphasized practical learning alongside theoretical knowledge.
