JAMSHEDPUR – The 15th National Voters’ Day was marked with a grand district-level celebration at the Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur. The event aimed to honor exemplary contributions of election officials and promote electoral awareness.
A significant highlight of the program was the distribution of commendation certificates to 187 election workers and 62 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for their exceptional service during assembly elections. Special recognition was given to individuals representing differently-abled and transgender communities. Additionally, five young voters received their EPIC voter identification cards, symbolizing their inclusion in the democratic process.
Leaders and Officials Grace the Occasion
Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal, ITDA Project Director Deepankar Choudhary, ADM (Law and Order) Aniket Sachan, and SDM Dhalbhum Shatabdi Majumdar were among the distinguished attendees. District Transport Officer Dhananjay and SDM Ghatshila Sunil Chandra also graced the event. Their collective presence underscored the importance of recognizing and encouraging electoral participation.
