JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand government has extended Old Pension Scheme benefits to staff of 970 schools.
Education Secretary Umashankar Singh issued the notification. Meanwhile, the decision follows Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s directives.
The scheme replaces the Contributory Pension System. Moreover, employees can select their preferred pension plan.
