Jharkhand Schools to Get Tablets for Digital Education Drive
Over 5,200 Tablets to Be Distributed in Three Districts
The Jharkhand Education Project Council launches a major digital initiative to enhance teaching-learning processes in government schools.

JAMSHEDPUR – The state government launches tablet distribution for primary and middle school teachers to boost digital education.
SiBIEN Learning Cart Private Limited will supply the devices. Meanwhile, teachers must use biometric attendance to qualify.
District-wise Distribution
East Singhbhum teachers await 1,994 tablets. “Selected teachers will receive devices soon,” DEO Manoj Kumar confirmed.
West Singhbhum gets 2,108 tablets. However, Seraikela-Kharsawan receives 1,131 units.
Implementation Plan
Block Resource Centres will handle verification processes. “Distribution will cover all 264 blocks,” an official source stated.
Teachers must maintain device security. Moreover, technical issues require district office attention.
