JAMSHEDPUR – Three flats at Shrinath Residency in the Marine Drive area of Kadma were burglarized, with thieves targeting unoccupied residences. The incident came to light when Anuj Chaudhary, a Tata Steel employee, returned to his home, only to find the lock broken and valuables missing.
Details of the Incident
The affected flats include Alpha 105, Alpha 306, and a second-floor flat in Beta Block. All three flats were reportedly unoccupied at the time of the theft, which allowed the criminals to execute the crime undetected. Anuj Chaudhary immediately informed the building’s security guard and notified the police.
Stolen Items and Police Response
The burglars made off with cash and jewelry from the flats. The police have launched an investigation and are reviewing potential leads. “We are analyzing the evidence and working to identify the perpetrators,” a police official stated.
