Three-day Tour to Assess Progress in Aspirational District Programs

CHAIBASA – Union Minister Dr. L. Murugan started his three-day assessment of development programs in West Singhbhum district.

Officials welcomed the minister at Ranchi airport. He will inspect various project sites through January 18.

“We aim to accelerate regional progress,” Dr. Murugan stated.

Comprehensive Review

The minister plans multiple site visits. ITI Jagannathpur tops his inspection list.

Meanwhile, Karanjia’s cage fisheries await review. SAIL mine inspection follows in the schedule.

Program Impact

The Aspirational District Program began in 2018. It targets 112 backward districts nationwide.

Moreover, the initiative focuses on key sectors. These include health, education, and infrastructure.

Previous Initiatives

Dr. Murugan visited Palamu last month. He reviewed similar development projects there.

Meanwhile, district officials prepare progress reports. The review aims to address regional disparities.

“Holistic development remains our goal,” a district official noted.
