JAMSHEDPUR – A popular food outlet at Tatanagar Railway Station had to shut operations after alleged threats from a local criminal gang disrupted essential supplies.
The Refresh Food Track restaurant operator approached railway police following supply disruptions. The gang had allegedly blocked access to gas cylinders and raw materials.
“We are taking this matter very seriously,” a railway source said. Moreover, the authorities have assured swift action to restore normalcy.
Impact on Passengers
The sudden closure has affected hundreds of rail passengers. Meanwhile, the railway authorities are working to arrange alternate food facilities.
“This disruption has severely impacted the passengers,” revealed a railway source. Furthermore, regular commuters have expressed concern over limited food options.
Police Investigation
It is learnt that a woman DSP visited the site to assess the situation. However, the operator remains concerned about resuming services without adequate security.
