  • Each village receives 500-kilowatt plant with dedicated distribution network
  • Village committees oversee maintenance of solar infrastructure

RANCHI – Jharkhand has successfully electrified 128 remote villages through off-grid solar power plants, bringing sustainable energy to previously unconnected communities.

The initiative transforms rural infrastructure. Each household now benefits from three LED lights.

Moreover, the project extends beyond homes. Schools and community centers enjoy reliable electricity access.

Strategic Implementation

JREDA coordinates with local authorities. The agency ensures efficient project execution across districts.

Meanwhile, village committees manage operations. They maintain direct communication with JREDA for maintenance needs.

Widespread Impact

The program covers multiple districts. Latehar, Ranchi, and Simdega showcase successful implementations.

Furthermore, the total capacity reaches 42 MW. This powers essential community services and street lighting.

Sustainable Development

The project demonstrates innovative solutions. “Remote locations no longer limit electricity access,” noted an energy expert.

Additionally, maintenance systems ensure longevity. Regular monitoring helps prevent service interruptions.
