RANCHI – Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari chaired a meeting to establish a Regional Training Center of NIPCCD in Jharkhand.
Officials discussed implementation plans. “The center will enhance skills of grassroots workers,” a department official stated.
Training Focus
The institute targets capacity building. Around 80,000 workers need training in Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, temporary arrangements progress. Jupmi building will host initial operations.
Moreover, the center will serve multiple states. Workers from Bengal, Odisha and Bihar will benefit.
Infrastructure Plans
A permanent campus is planned near Khunti. Five acres have been earmarked for construction.
Furthermore, the facility joins existing centers. NIPCCD operates in five other locations nationwide.
Administrative Support
Key officials attended the planning meeting. Revenue and social welfare secretaries participated.
In addition, SUDA director provided inputs. The focus remains on swift implementation.
The center strengthens childcare services. It will enhance program delivery across eastern India.
