JAMSHEDPUR – This Durga Puja season, Kolkata will witness a unique celebration of Bengali rock music’s rich heritage.

Bingo has launched ‘Rockanjali,’ a tribute to 50 years of Bengali rock.

The event features live concerts at six major pandals over six consecutive days.

A special Puja song, also titled ‘Rockanjali,’ kicks off the celebration.

Well-known artists from bands like Cactus, Lakkhichhara, and Chandrabindu performed the song.

The competition aims to inspire and connect with Bingo’s core audience.

Over 120 entries were received from Kolkata college students.

Winners will collaborate with 15 of Kolkata’s top rock bands.

Additionally, Bingo Tede-Mede will organize a ‘Concert on Wheels.’

This unique tour, named ‘Rockanjali Puja Tour,’ runs from Chaturthi to Navami.

Thousands are expected to attend the live performances across Kolkata.

The tour will showcase the vibrant spirit of Bengali rock music.

It will visit six iconic Durga Puja pandals throughout the city.

The event combines traditional festivities with modern musical expression.

This initiative highlights the cultural significance of rock music in Bengal.

A local music enthusiast remarked, "This is a fantastic way to celebrate our rock heritage during Durga Puja."
