CHAIBASA – A health and vision screening camp for 60 bus drivers was conducted at the Chaibasa bus stand as part of Road Safety Month 2025.
District authorities, led by the District Transport Officer Rajesh Ekka and accompanied by medical professionals and committee members, organized the event. The initiative aimed to ensure drivers’ fitness and reduce road accidents. Rajesh Ekka highlighted the importance of timely eye exams, noting that eye health is often neglected despite its role in safe driving.

Dr. Sushila Somen Topno from Sadar Hospital conducted the screenings, supported by Bahaman Tuti, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, and road safety members including Rajaram Gupta.
