RANCHI – The district administration has ordered closure of all schools for two days as temperatures plummet to dangerous levels.

The closure applies to all educational institutions. “Student safety remains our top priority during this harsh weather,” a senior district official stated.

Meanwhile, government school teachers and staff must continue attending. They will handle administrative tasks during regular hours.

The severe cold has disrupted normal activities across Ranchi. Residents face particularly harsh conditions before sunrise.

Moreover, dense fog has reduced visibility significantly. The fog typically clears only after mid-morning.
