JWU Team to Compete in AIU East Zone Youth Festival

25 Students to Participate in 11 Events at Kolkata’s Five-Day Cultural Meet

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur Women’s University students will participate in the 38th AIU East Zone Youth Festival.

The five-day event begins January 8 at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata. The team departs January 7.

Meanwhile, Dr. Kishwar Ara leads the delegation. Dr. Sanatan Deep and Sudha Deep provide additional guidance.

Event Preparations

Various faculty members direct different events. Dr. Sanatan Deep oversees group songs.

Moreover, Sudha Deep coaches folk and group dance. Dr. Pushpa Kumari guides elocution participants.

Additionally, Dr. Shalini Prasad directs skits and mime. Dr. Rajshri trains solo singing contestants.

Student Participation

The contingent includes 25 talented students. Anmol Pari Mishra and Arpita Das join the team.

Furthermore, Varsha Pati and Simran Gupta participate. Lucky Kumari and Soumi Mukherjee add diversity.

The team competes in eleven categories. They represent various cultural and artistic disciplines.

Leadership Support

Vice Chancellor Dr. Anjila Gupta praised participants. She highlighted students’ achievements across fields.

Besides, four faculty members accompany students. They provide guidance throughout the festival.

The university expects strong performances. Previous successes boost team confidence.
