BAHARAGORA – A tragic road accident on Wednesday at Chaurangi Mod in Baharagora claimed the life of 20-year-old Sanjay Gop, a resident of Kaliyadinga village. The incident occurred as he returned from a picnic at Merughati with friends.

Accident and Medical Response

The Toto carrying Sanjay and his friends lost balance and overturned. Severely injured, Sanjay was rushed to Baharagora Community Health Center with the help of locals and a 108 ambulance. Due to his critical condition, he was referred to PRM Medical College, Baripada, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Mourning Family and Community

Sanjay leaves behind his wife Rani Gop (20), a 1.5-year-old daughter Ruby, his mother, and a younger brother. His wife and daughter are devastated by the loss. Married just two years ago, Sanjay worked at a poultry farm. His tragic death has plunged the village into mourning, and his last rites were performed in a somber atmosphere.
