The state’s remarkable agricultural transformation continues to gain momentum. Local farmers are achieving impressive results.
Moreover, the state produces 1060 kg pulses per hectare. This surpasses the global average of 1000 kg.
Millet Mission Success
Meanwhile, the Jharkhand Millet Mission has transformed local agriculture. Various millet varieties now thrive across the state.
Furthermore, farmers receive substantial financial support. Incentives range from Rs 3,000 to Rs 15,000 based on land size.
Additionally, the state cultivates diverse millet varieties. These include Madha, Jowar, Bajra, Kutki, Kodo, and Sama.
Development Initiatives
On the other hand, all 24 districts now participate in the NFSM scheme. This expansion promises further agricultural growth.
