Shiv Shankar Singh Sends Off Bol Bam Kanwaria Group in Jamshedpur

Social worker blesses pilgrims at Tatanagar Railway Station for Deoghar Dham journey

Renowned social worker Shiv Shankar Singh blessed Bol Bam Kanwaria pilgrims embarking on their spiritual journey to Deoghar Dham.

JAMSHEDPUR – Shiv Shankar Singh, patron of "Koshish Ek Muskaan Laane Ki," sent off Bol Bam Kanwaria pilgrims from Tatanagar Railway Station for their journey to Deoghar Dham.

The event was filled with a mix of solemnity and enthusiasm as pilgrims prepared for their spiritual trek.

Singh, known for his dedication to social causes, personally greeted each member of the Kanwaria group.

"The journey to Deoghar Dham is not just physical but spiritual, a testament to our faith, unity, and perseverance," Singh addressed the gathering.

He extended wishes for a safe journey and return, emphasizing the importance of devotion and community spirit.

The Kanwaria group, dressed in traditional saffron attire, carried decorated water pots (kanwars) on their shoulders.

Their annual pilgrimage during the holy month of Saawan involves collecting Ganges water to offer at the Baba Baidyanath temple.

Singh’s organization, "Koshish Ek Muskaan Laane Ki," is known for various social initiatives supporting education, healthcare, and community events.

His involvement in the send-off symbolized his broader mission to bring positive change and smiles to the community.

The Baba Baidyanath temple in Deoghar Dham is one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas.

This annual ritual highlights the deep-rooted cultural and spiritual traditions of the region.
