RANCHI – Athletes from West Singhbhum district secured 29 medals at the 3rd Bhagwan Birsa Munda Open National Taekwondo Championship.
The three-day event concluded at Harivans Tana Bhagat Stadium. The championship saw participation from across India.
The district’s performance helped Jharkhand win the overall championship. Local athletes have shown remarkable improvement in recent years.
Medal Winners
Ditya Chauhan and Alisha Kujur won gold medals. Several other local talents also secured top positions.
Meanwhile, Advika Sahu and Sudhamuni Jonko clinched silver medals. The district’s training programs have yielded good results.
