JAMSHEDPUR – The All India Democratic Students’ Organisation (AIDSO) marked its 71st foundation day with a protest rally against educational concerns.

Students marched from Sakchi Ambagan to the District Commissioner’s office. Meanwhile, they submitted a memorandum addressing various educational issues.

Education Concerns

The organization highlighted deteriorating conditions in education. Moreover, they criticized budget cuts affecting public education quality.

AIDSO opposed the centralization of educational administration. Furthermore, they expressed concerns about privatization trends.

NEP 2020 Criticism

Protesters called NEP 2020 a blueprint for privatization. Additionally, they warned about its impact on institutional autonomy.

The policy threatens scientific thinking in education. However, centralized control remains a major concern.

Student Demands

The memorandum emphasized improving public education resources. Besides, it called for maintaining institutional independence.

AIDSO demanded immediate attention to educational infrastructure. On the other hand, they stressed the importance of developing logical thinking among students.
