JAMSHEDPUR – Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s deep-rooted connection with Jharkhand spanned over decades through various significant visits and personal ties.
Dr. Singh’s journey with Jharkhand began well before his tenure as Prime Minister. In 1992, as Finance Minister, he participated in a seminar at Tiril Ashram.
Moreover, his visit to Jamshedpur East in 2005 marked a significant political milestone. The Congress candidate’s campaign received a major boost through his presence.

The former Prime Minister’s commitment to industrial growth became evident in 2008. He graced Tata Steel’s centenary celebrations with his presence.
