GHATSHILA – Members of the Non-Funded Education Joint Struggle Front met Education Minister Ramdas Soren at his residence.
The delegation presented their two-point demand memo. The meeting focused on pending departmental issues.
“The minister assured serious consideration of our demands,” said a Front leader.
Key Demands
The teachers seek state employee status recognition. The proposal currently awaits Personnel Department approval.
Moreover, they requested action on the 75% grant increase. The Finance Department had returned this proposal earlier.
Ministerial Response
Minister Soren directed immediate departmental action. He promised regular discussions on these issues.
Meanwhile, the Front leaders expressed optimism. They believe approval would greatly benefit non-funded teachers.
“These reforms will provide significant relief,” noted Front leader Manoj Kumar.
