Christmas Celebrations Highlight Brotherhood and Harmony

JAMSHEDPUR – DBMS College of Education organized a vibrant Christmas program to celebrate the spirit of the festival and educate attendees about Jesus Christ and the meaning of Christmas.

The program began with a warm welcome by first-year students Rachna Verma and Shweta, who greeted the college’s secretary, Mrs. Sripriya Dharamrajan, assistant secretary Mrs. Sudha Dilip, Mrs. Padma Shiva, Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita, Dr. Monika Uppal, and the faculty.

Enthralling Performances Mark the Day

In the cultural segment, Amrita Chaudhary led a team including Priya Poddar, Rupa, Swati, Arpita, Goodsimran, Srishti, Megha, Swastika, and Ayush in singing melodious Christmas carols. Eliza captivated the audience with a heartfelt poem. Megha and Akanksha followed with an energetic PT presentation.

A soulful rendition of “Masiha Aaya Hai” by Priya, Arpita, Rupa, and their group was met with applause. Meanwhile, Neha, Priya, Manisha, Muskan, Nikki, Jagruti, Nikita, Aashna, and Spriha showcased a lively dance titled “Anand Ki Bahar.”

Drama and Dance Capture Christmas Spirit

The highlight of the program was the drama Little Women, directed by Natasha Joseph and performed by Bushra, Renu, Baby Lakshmi, Akanksha, David, Manju, Ankit, and Nancy. The performance brought smiles and resonated deeply with the audience.

Another enchanting dance performance, “Christmas Ki Rang,” was presented by Spriha, Priya, and Neha, embodying the joy of the season.

Principal’s Message and Closing Moments

Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita spoke about the significance of Christmas as a festival of brotherhood and harmony. The program concluded on a high note with students dancing to the lively tune of “Jingle Bells,” engaging everyone in the festive spirit.

The event ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Siddhi.
