Jamshedpur Student Tops CAT 2024 in Jharkhand with 99.88 Percentile

JAMSHEDPUR – Ritwik Raj of Baridih Aastha Twin City emerged as Jharkhand’s CAT 2024 topper, scoring an impressive 99.88 percentile.

Ritwik Raj topped the state, reaffirming Jamshedpur’s academic excellence. Pratyush Raj Singh from Ranchi secured the second position in Jharkhand with a 99.59 percentile. Other notable performers include Nilesh Shekhar (99.22), Md Jamshed (98.90), and Amit Kumar (97.76).

Engineers Dominate National Results

Nationwide, engineers showcased exceptional performance in CAT 2024. Fourteen candidates secured a perfect 100 percentile, out of which 13 were engineers. Only one female candidate achieved this score.

Furthermore, 29 candidates achieved a 99.99 percentile, with 25 belonging to engineering backgrounds. In the 99.98 percentile bracket, 30 candidates were recognized for their outstanding scores.

Jharkhand’s Prominent Achievers

Apart from Ritwik and Pratyush, Sankalp Karan (97.24), Mayank Raj (96.97), and Sumit Kumar Singh (96.05) stood out. Ankit Raj from Dhanbad scored 95.06, while Shwet Sneha and Ayush Kumar Dubey followed with 93.7 and 92.89, respectively. Coaching institutes like Times Ranchi and Career Launcher played a pivotal role in mentoring many of these high achievers.

State and Gender Performance Trends

Maharashtra emerged as the top-performing state, producing the highest number of candidates with a perfect score. Delhi and Andhra Pradesh followed closely behind.

The results highlight the continuing dominance of engineers in CAT, further solidifying their prominence in India’s premier management entrance test.
