JAMSHEDPUR – Maithon Power Limited (MPL) celebrates the success of Jharkhand’s Under-14 football team, with three program participants contributing to the national runner-up title.

Gauri Singh, Moutushi Mandal, and Sunena Tudu, products of MPL’s ‘Essential Enablers’ Program, showcased exceptional skills in the tournament.

Their performance highlights the effectiveness of MPL’s sports development initiative in rural communities.

Moreover, the program, launched in 2018 as part of MPL’s CSR efforts, aims to nurture athletic talent in underserved areas.

The ‘Essential Enablers’ project provides sports training and infrastructure to over 1500 community youth.

Additionally, it emphasizes empowering girls and marginalized groups through sports.

Since its inception, the initiative has trained more than 1200 athletes.

Furthermore, participants have won 265 medals in various competitions across different levels.
