JAMSHEDPUR – Discontent has surfaced within the BJP’s district-level membership campaign in Jamshedpur. The dispute emerged in Parsudih Mandal, where Devendra Singh, Mandal General Secretary, resigned from his post as co-membership in-charge.
Singh submitted his resignation to the district membership in-charge, citing dissatisfaction over the appointment process. He stated that three names were proposed for the membership drive at the mandal level. However, those names were overlooked, and new names were introduced without informing the mandal.
“This lack of transparency is unfair and not in the interest of the organization,” Singh remarked while explaining his decision to step down.
The resignation has stirred concerns about internal disagreements and organizational management during the BJP’s membership drive. Leaders in the district are yet to issue an official response to the matter.
The membership campaign, which aims to strengthen the party at the grassroots level, now faces challenges as local leadership disputes come to the forefront. Observers suggest that resolving such issues is crucial to maintaining unity within the party.
