JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand’s cricket sensation Ashwani Kumari is intensively preparing for the upcoming domestic season at Keenan Stadium.

Ashwani Kumari, Jharkhand’s sole representative in the Women’s IPL, is fully committed to honing her skills.

Moreover, she’s diligently following her coach’s instructions to improve her fitness, batting, bowling, and fielding.

The star cricketer has played for both Delhi Capitals and Gujarat in the Women’s IPL.

Furthermore, Ashwani values the learning opportunities she gained from competing at such a high level.

She particularly mentioned her friendship with Jemima Rodrigues from the Delhi team.

Additionally, Ashwani strongly advocates for equal opportunities in sports for all children, regardless of gender.

She believes the Women’s IPL has opened up new avenues for young female cricketers to showcase their talent.

Meanwhile, the Jharkhand State Cricket Association has organized this comprehensive training camp.

The camp includes 24 talented women cricketers from across the state.

In addition to skill training, the participants are also focusing on strength conditioning.

Furthermore, three trial matches are scheduled to help select the final team.

The chosen squad will represent Jharkhand in the Senior Women’s T-20 Cricket Tournament in Surat.

Rajkumar Yadav from Jamshedpur is leading the camp as the head coach.

On the other hand, coaches Prakash Munda and Kavita Rai are providing valuable support.

Their collective efforts are aimed at ensuring the team’s thorough preparation for the upcoming tournament.
