SERAIKELA – The Seraikela-Kharsawan district committee of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) held a meeting on Monday at Adityapur Auto Cluster, voicing strong opposition to Jiada’s proposed holding tax.

The members decided to raise their concerns with the state government and, along with the ASIA (Adityapur Small Industries Association), will meet the Chief Minister. They aim to ensure no additional financial burden is placed on industrialists.

During the meeting, it was also proposed to organize an Entrepreneur Honor and Get-Together Ceremony in January. The event will invite the state’s Industry Minister as the chief guest and seek to unite key figures from the industrial sector.

The committee addressed infrastructural issues related to Jiada, including road maintenance, drainage, street lighting, and traffic management. Plans were made to escalate these concerns to the relevant departments for prompt resolution.

The development of the region’s airport was another key topic of discussion. Members deliberated on strategies to enhance airport facilities to benefit local industries.

Prominent attendees included Vinod Sharma, Swapan Majumdar, Vikas Chandra, Sanjay Sharma, Nilesh Seth, Uday Singh, Gyan Jaiswal, Pradeep Kumar Jha, Manoj Sahay, Saikat Ghosh, and other committee members.
