JAMSHEDPUR – The All Jharkhand Music Competition at Rabindra Bhavan witnessed participation from 408 artists across various performing arts.

The event featured competitions in diverse art forms including Kathak and Bharatanatyam. Participants came from Chaibasa, Jamtara, and other districts.

“The competition has grown significantly since its inception in 2011,” noted a senior organizing committee member.

Growing Cultural Platform

The Tagore Society initiated this competition to nurture artistic talent. The event has become a significant platform for aspiring performers.

Meanwhile, students from Tagore School of Arts opened the ceremony. Dr. H.S. Paul delivered an inspiring welcome address.

Celebrating Artistic Excellence

Dhalbhum SDO Shatabdi Majumdar praised art’s role in community development. The ceremony featured special performances by winners.

Moreover, the competition included categories like Rabindra Sangeet and guitar. This diversity attracted participants across age groups.

Additionally, first-place winners presented a captivating hour-long performance. Sanhita Lahiri’s hosting added grace to the ceremony.
