BJP State Chief Attends Shraddh Ceremony of Former CM Arjun Munda’s Brother

Key Points:

  • Babulal Marandi reaches Jamshedpur, meets BJP workers
  • Accuses Hemant government of failing to fulfill election promises
  • Questions delay in funds under Maaiya Samman Yojana

JAMSHEDPUR – BJP State President Babulal Marandi criticized the Hemant government for not delivering on its electoral promises.

Marandi arrived in Jamshedpur to attend the shraddh ceremony of former Chief Minister Arjun Munda’s elder brother. Following the ceremony, he met BJP workers at the Parishadan and targeted the state government’s alleged inaction on promises.

Allegations of Broken Promises

Babulal Marandi accused the Hemant Soren-led government of neglecting its commitments after the elections. He highlighted the delay in implementing the Maaiya Samman Yojana, under which the promised increase in financial assistance has not been transferred to beneficiaries’ accounts.

“Now, the government is demanding unnecessary documents and conducting beneficiary verifications. This is nothing but deception,” said Marandi.

Criticism of Government Schemes

Marandi labeled the government’s actions as a betrayal of public trust. “The promises made during elections were mere slogans to mislead the people. The state government has forgotten them immediately after gaining power,” he added.

Interaction with BJP Workers

During his interaction with BJP workers at Parishadan, Marandi emphasized the need to strengthen the party organization. He urged workers to engage with people and expose the shortcomings of the current government.
