Project Includes Food Court ‘Khau Gali’ for Street Food Vendors

JAMSHEDPUR – Adityapur Municipal Corporation revives its vending zone project under NULM to provide organized spaces for street vendors.

The project awaits technical approval. “This will transform street vending,” a municipal official stated.

Project Details

Three locations have been finalized. Dindali Bazaar leads with highest budget allocation.

Ashiana Mor receives Rs 80.37 lakh. Meanwhile, Chuna Bhatta gets Rs 60.66 lakh.

Food Court Plans

A dedicated ‘Khau Gali’ will feature local delicacies. Vendors will operate from standardized handcarts.

The market will offer various street foods. Moreover, hygiene standards will be strictly maintained.

Implementation Status

The corporation seeks technical feedback. Executive Engineer Pankaj Jha oversees the process.

Tender process awaits engineering approval. Furthermore, modernization plans include vendor facilities.

Market Management

Current toll collection follows government rules. Market Master Manoj Paswan clarified collection procedures.

Special consideration exists for tribal vendors. Additionally, illegal structure removal continues.
