RANCHI – Newly appointed Education Minister Ramdas Soren launches initiative to transform government schools in Jharkhand.
The minister wasted no time in reviewing department initiatives.

Furthermore, Jharkhand has 35,000 government schools currently.
The state faces 25% teacher vacancy across institutions.
However, model schools have shown promising results.
These schools achieved 85% pass rates last year.
In addition, private school enrollment grew 20% recently.
Besides, government schools need infrastructure upgrades.
“Modern facilities will attract more students,” remarked an education expert.
On the other hand, 200 schools closed under previous administration.
The state’s literacy rate stands at 67.6%.
