Key Points:

  • Two die as trailer rams into parked truck on Ranchi-Tata highway
  • Police recover bodies trapped in severely damaged trailer cabin
  • Victims from Rajasthan identified as trailer driver and cleaner

RANCHI – A tragic collision between a trailer and a stationary truck at Tikar Mor claimed two lives.

The devastating crash occurred along the busy Ranchi-Tata highway. The trailer was heading towards Ranchi.

Meanwhile, a truck stood motionless in the middle. This created a dangerous obstacle on the highway.

The high-speed impact proved catastrophic. The trailer’s front section was completely crushed.

Moreover, both occupants died instantly. They were traveling from Rajasthan.

The rescue operation required heavy machinery. A crane extracted the victims from the wreckage.

Furthermore, this section sees heavy traffic daily. Over 5,000 vehicles use this route.

This year has witnessed multiple accidents. Five similar incidents occurred in the past six months.

Additionally, the Ranchi-Tata highway spans 130 kilometers. It connects two major industrial hubs.

Meanwhile, Tamar police rushed to the scene. They coordinated the rescue efforts.

The bodies were sent to RIMS. Postmortem procedures were initiated immediately.

However, traffic flow resumed quickly. Police managed single-lane movement efficiently.

On the other hand, highway safety remains concerning. Abandoned vehicles pose serious risks.

“Strict action awaits negligent truck owners,” stated a local traffic official.
