Jamshedpur: A case of sexual assault on a minor girl has been reported from Parsudih. The incident has reportedly occurred on last Sunday on a closed government school campus. The police have arrested four persons in this connection and have sent them to jail. 13 others are being interrogated.
According to information received, the family members of the victim have filed a named FIR with Parsudih police station. A ruckus was also seen outside the police station when angry locals assembledl there demanding quick action in the case.

The SSP Dr. M Tamil Vanan said that a minor of 15 years of age used to work in a shop in Parsudih. She was going back home, when a boy known to herm took her to a vacant lavatory and assaulted her sexually.
4 boys have been arrested based on the statement of victim’s father.
The arrested youths are all adults and they have confessed to their involvement in the crime. All have been sent to judicial custody.
The victim lives with her grandfather, while her parents live in a separate house in another basti.
On Sunday some youths were returning from picnic, while they saw the victim going back home. One accused talk to her and took her to a closed government school. Later, others allegedly overpowered her and took her to the lavatory and assaulted her sexually.
The SSP confirmed that 4 accused have been arrested.
He said that all the arrested accused are adults and have been sent to judicial custody, while the police are investigating all facts relating to the case.
