JAMSHEDPUR – With the assembly election vote counting underway, Jadugoda police enforced heightened security throughout Saturday. Officers were stationed at key locations, particularly Jadugoda Mod Chowk, to ensure law and order.

Jadugoda Mod Chowk witnessed significant police presence, with officers remaining alert throughout the day. Musabani Inspector Suresh Prasad and Jadugoda SHO Rajesh Kumar actively patrolled the area. They focused on monitoring public activities to prevent any disruptions during the counting process.

Additionally, officials patrolled busy streets, ensuring that no incidents jeopardized peace. A local source noted, "The visible police presence gave residents a sense of security on this critical day." The vigilance aimed to address potential disturbances before they escalated.

Locals said that similar measures were also implemented in other sensitive areas during previous elections in Jharkhand. Experts have lauded these preventive efforts as essential in maintaining stability.

On the other hand, an official stated, “Ensuring smooth elections is our top priority, and today’s measures were crucial to achieving that goal.”

Such proactive policing highlights the administration’s commitment to upholding democratic processes without interruptions.
