JAMSHEDPUR – The city’s Sikh community prepares for a grand celebration of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s 358th birth anniversary with citywide events.
The CGPC leads the celebration preparations. Meanwhile, they chose Telco Gurudwara as the starting point.
Furthermore, this marks one of the largest religious processions in Jamshedpur. Moreover, the event draws thousands of devotees annually.
"Devotees should wear saffron or blue attire," emphasized CGPC President Bhagwan Singh. Besides, all Gurudwaras will arrange special prayers.
The procession covers major landmarks. However, traffic management remains a priority.
The Central Singh Naujawaan Sabha will handle crowd control. Meanwhile, decorative gates will welcome the Palki Sahib.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji established the Khalsa in 1699. Moreover, his teachings continue to inspire millions globally.
The celebration includes traditional langar services. Furthermore, all Gurudwaras will organize continuous meal distribution.
"This event strengthens community bonds," remarked a local religious leader. In addition, it promotes cultural heritage preservation.
The previous year’s celebration attracted over 50,000 participants. Besides, this year expects higher attendance.
