-

-
Other exit polls suggest a tighter competition
JAMSHEDPUR – Axis My India is the only Exit Poll that has predicted a clear win for the NDA combine in Jharkhand. In a sense, Axis My India conclusions are outliers as they go against the trend being shown by other exit polls.
Exit polls for the Jharkhand Assembly elections have been released, with most indicating a closely fought battle between the major political alliances.
However, the Axis My India exit poll stands out by forecasting a substantial victory for the India bloc, predicting they will secure between 49 and 59 seats.
In contrast, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is projected to win between 17 and 27 seats according to the same poll.
This prediction diverges significantly from other exit polls, which suggest a much tighter competition between the two alliances.
Axis My India has a history of accurate predictions in Jharkhand’s political landscape.
In the 2019 Assembly elections, their forecast closely matched the actual results, where the India bloc secured 47 seats, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) obtained 25 seats.
During that election, the Congress-Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) alliance performed strongly, with JMM emerging as the largest party by winning 30 seats.
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Axis My India’s exit poll predicted that the BJP would win 8 to 10 seats in Jharkhand.
The actual results saw the NDA securing 9 seats, with the BJP losing three seats reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
While Axis My India’s past predictions have been notably accurate, the final outcome of their 2024 forecast for the Jharkhand Assembly elections remains to be seen.
Political analysts and voters alike are keenly awaiting the official results to determine whether this trend of accuracy continues.
