JAMSHEDPUR – Railway Protection Force arrested a ticket agent for running an unauthorized e-ticket operation.

The raid occurred at JNB Enterprises in Kadma. Moreover, officials seized multiple electronic devices.

"We discovered unauthorized ID usage for inflated ticket sales," stated RPF officer Rakesh Mohan.

Meanwhile, the team found various categories of e-tickets. Furthermore, they confiscated computer equipment.

In addition, the operation revealed a broader network. The illegal practice involved multiple brokers.

However, the investigation continues to identify more suspects. Besides, officials urge passengers to use authorized channels.

On the other hand, railway agents misuse personal IDs. Meanwhile, this happens after exhausting official quotas.

The joint team included several RPF and CIB officers. "Public vigilance remains crucial," noted a railway official.
