AJSU Party Releases Manifesto Prioritizing Employment

JAMSHEDPUR – AJSU Party released its manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections, focusing on job creation, state welfare, and boosting the economy.
Party leader Sudesh Kumar Mahto, along with prominent members like MPs Chandraprakash Choudhary and senior leaders such as Dr. Devsharan Bhagat, outlined key promises at the launch.
In the manifesto, AJSU committed to providing a minimum annual income of ₹1.21 lakh per family in Jharkhand. The party has proposed 200 units of free electricity for Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, along with free electricity and water for farmers to aid agricultural productivity.
Under the "Nari Samman Yojana," women would receive a monthly grant of ₹2,500 to support economic empowerment. Mahto also promised to establish industries in every assembly constituency to increase employment opportunities.
The manifesto includes the creation of an Employment and Rehabilitation Commission to address job placement and support rehabilitation efforts.
The AJSU leader emphasized implementing the PESA Act to ensure protection of tribal rights and a localization policy based on the state’s final land survey records. The manifesto pledges nearly 30 initiatives focused on creating a prosperous and self-sufficient Jharkhand.
