JAMSHEDPUR – NDA candidate Saryu Roy assured residents of Jamshedpur West on Tuesday that efforts to intimidate his supporters would be met with a firm response to ensure free and fair campaigning.
During an extensive outreach in areas including Sonari and Mango, Roy attracted large groups of young supporters, who Raised concerns about receiving threats from associates of a rival Congress candidate.
In response, Roy stated, “Those trying to spread fear in the area will face a strong response,” assuring his supporters that they need not feel intimidated. He emphasized his commitment to their safety, adding that his campaign’s moral responsibility was to protect all involved.
Throughout his outreach in Gunmay Colony, Punjabi Line, Chanakyapuri Colony, and Adarsh Nagar, Roy listened to residents’ concerns and promised solutions to their problems. He encouraged young people to inform him of any further threats, promising that attempts to criminalize politics in the region would not succeed.
Roy added that Jamshedpur West’s marginalized communities, including Dalits and backward classes, stood firmly behind his campaign, strengthening his resolve to counter any intimidation attempts effectively.
